Research that moves society forward
Kista is one of Sweden’s most active environments for publicly funded research-driven innovation projects. The area attracts approximately 2 million euros in public grants annually for early deeptech enterprises, another 2 million euros for larger companies and much greater sums allocated to Kista’s local research agencies, science park and labs.

“Kista offers a prime location in Stockholm, with close access to the expertise we need and a talent pool stretching from Södermalm to Uppsala. For a company like Avioniq, developing AI-based decision support for the fighter pilots of the future, being in the right place with access to top talent makes all the difference.”
Mikael Grev, CEO, Avioniq
